Erez Manela，哈佛大学汗青系教授，专讲国际史与美国世界史。著述及获奖文章有：《The Shock of the Global: The 1970s in Perspective 》(2010)等，目前在尝试以上世纪六七十年代的根除天花打算（SEP）为切入点来沉新诠释二战后国际史的主题。寻找战术同盟对当今中国和美国的意思以及它若何影响今天的国际秩序。

Erez Manela is Professor of History at Harvard University, where he teaches international history , and the history of the United States in the world.His publications include the prize-winning.The Wilsonian Moment:Self-Determnation and the International Origins Of Anticolonial Nationalism(2007).

These themes include the puzzle of superpower collaboration amid global conflict; the contradictions and tensions inherent in the history of international development;the relations between the global North and South in the postcoolonial era;and the evolving role of international organizations in international society.
